The Government Digital Service is a new team within the Cabinet Office tasked with transforming government digital services. It's core purpose is to ensure the Government offers world-class digital products that meet people’s needs and are digital by default.
I've been contracting with GDS as a graphic/interaction designer for gov.uk as well as producing varied pieces of illustration and iconography to support the project.
In April 2013, gov.uk won the Design Museum's Design of the Year award, scooping both the digital category and the overall prize.
