The China Design Now exhibition at the V&A focused on China’s hopes and dreams — from the entrepreneurial spirit of individual designers, to society's aspirations at a moment of tremendous change, to the global ambitions of a nation.
I took care of the front and backend end development of the exhibition's microsite as well as the design and development of an interactive Flash site, where users could create their own characters based on their year of birth.
The project was a huge success, driving footfall to the exhibition and on the day of launch over 1,500 unique characters were created.
