Vitsœ is the manufacturer and retailer of the 606 Universal Shelving System, a design classic conceived by Dieter Rams in 1960.
At Airside, we won the pitch to redesign and rethink the company's online presence and digital strategy.
I designed the site in tandem with Chris Rain.
Underpinning our design work was a solid functional and user experience strategy borne out of a true collaboration between Airside, the client and With Associates — our back-end partners and digital strategists in their own right.
At Airside we were also responsible for the creation and art direction of a two minute piece of moving image that sits on the home page of the site to convey Vitsœ's ethos. This was led by Malika Favre.
During the project, I also designed and handcoded a Japanese microsite for Vitsœ.
This also involved storyboarding, designing and producing a one minute piece of moving image to live on the site and on employees’ iPhones.
